UX Writer| Muck Rack

The short: I delight with microcopy. 

The long: As Muck Rack’s UX Writer, I take ownership of all verbal content and writing standards across Muck Rack’s software customer experience, from labels, to error messages, to notifications, to iterative enhancements, to large system-wide initiatives, and more. As part of the product team, I help create intuitive and delightful customer experiences that align with Muck Rack’s key business goals.

2022

Senior Content Design Consultant | Terminix (contract)

The short: Pests are a problem and I help people deal with them.

The long: As the senior content designer for Terminix, I serve as the
creative architect for the brand, distilling complex messaging, strategy, and
insights from stakeholders into consumer copy that is simple, engaging, and
memorable. In my role, I am responsible for creating, editing, enhancing copy
across multiple web and digital platforms. In my collaboration with product marketers
and the UX team, I’ve helped map and create a new onboarding experience of
customers, launch a customer chat function for the web, and helped with content
for the Terminix MyAccount customer experience.

 

2018 - 2022

Associate Director, Copy | Thorne Research

The short: Redefined society’s views on health and wellness.

The long: During my time at Thorne, I helped bring the brand’s DTC market to life through innovative narratives and compelling campaign messaging across digital media, video, mobile, and audio platforms that connect the company’s brands to targeted demographics. In collaboration with our UX designers, I created the content and copy for Thorne’s home health test experience, including the app, web accounts, results and recommendations, and physical booklets. Additionally, I created and successfully implemented a playbook for the customer success team to use when handling inquiries on the web, chat, or phone. 

 

2016 - 2018

SR Content Creator & Copywriter | Frazer Consultants

The short: I helped create meaningful ways for people to
honor loved ones.

The long: As a content writer, my goal was to propel Frazer
Consultants into become the leading voice in the evolving funeral technology field by providing current and prospective clients with industry news, innovative ideas, and resources to help better serve their needs. The content I produce was designed to reach and engage a broad audience across different levels of the sales funnel.  

2014 - 2016

News Designer | Lee Enterprises

The short: I made the news. 

The long: As a news designer, I was in charge of overseeing the design, layout, and production of daily newspapers. I planned with editors and reporters in remote sites to ensure a quality newspaper and deadlines were met. My job required a precise attention to detail, while also maintaining high productivity and adhering to design standards. My other responsibilities included being able to work and communicate effectively within the Regional Design Center team, and being able to manage multiple projects.
